i think the guy has done a hell of a job at Southampton. And has shown he can win with tactics and teaching, not with a pocket book

i've been saying since he took the job that he is the most underrated manager in the league. i am actually hoping he stays for a while and builds something there.

I thought Southampton has money (or will have). He´s going to have to spend more time there, before a top tier gives him a serious look.
If they pay similar or more, he may return to Espanyol (where he was loved as a player), and from there to a biggie.

He's a good manager, but they spent relatively big this summer for a club that's not one of the bigger ones. Something like 35 million or so for Wanyama, Osvaldo, and Lovren, and they didn't sell anyone of note.
Obviously it's not City/Chelsea money, but they spent more than United did.
That said, he is a good manager, and it wouldn't surprise me if he did get a bigger job.

He's a great manager who deserves a top tier job. I hope he builds Southampton into something. They have a great academy and if they can keep all the players they've produced then they could be a good team.
