BIG state with one football program of significance, and they think they're all that. They have the biggest recruiting advantage in all of college football.

their fans were absolutely awful in the earlier 2000's- mid 2000's

i mean just obnoxiously and arrogantly annoying.. and for all that trash they talked they still would get steam rolled by a legit team.

it's a lack of respect because they have such an easy path to a title game which they do not deserve.. only to see them get blown out.

also their alumni use to be intolerable as well, such as eddie george and all the bias in media coverage.

Their conference commissioner and university president piously have echoed many a sentiment over the last decade about the Big Ten "doing things the right way" in terms of college athletics, and it is not rare for an SEC tweak to be included in such sentiments. A quick look at the goings-on in their football program over the past few years (not to mention those of other Big Ten schools' football programs) will show you plainly that Ohio State is sitting on a high horse that isn't theirs.

Simply put, they are hypocrites. And arrogant hypocrites.

Several teams recruit Ohio. The entire B1G and now Kentucky and Tennessee are going after state talent. The recruiting advantage isn't as big as one may think. At least IMO.

just LOL.

Ohio State has a huge advantage especially being in one of the most talent rich states in the country. The vast majority of kids are born and bred to be Buckeyes. This is huge (not complaining).

Also, LOL at UK and UT taking Ohio kids that Ohio State actually *wants*. Notre Dame is about the only school who is consistently successful when competing with OSU for Ohio talent - and this is primarily because of the Catholic angle.
