the value of a SEC Champ game vs. Recruiting this week

Of course, the goal is to get to Atlanta every year. However, it seems that not having to prepare for a game this week, is giving the staff a bunch of time for visiting recruits. Your thoughts on what is more important?

got it. i agree championship is more important but looking on positive side of things. A bunch of recruiting is getting done especially this weekend.

You get good recruits so you can win the sec championship. What is wrong with you? There some dumb things that get posted on this board, but this may be the dumbest because i think you have really thought hard about this. You may truly be the biggest idiot on this website.

Easy T, i remember back in 2005 and 2007, people were bitching about how LSU having to prepare for a game while Bama, auburn, etc was recruiting all week and we couldnt. some was proposing a quiet week of recruiting during SEC champ week.

actually only been on my mind this week. T, thanks for caring though. Totally agree the SEC champ is most important. Looking back on past class rankings, the "best" classes were during years LSU did not play in SEC game. 2007, 2009, 2011 classes. Just saying the extra week/weekend has some value
