If Projected as a 1st Rd Pick, What Likelihood of a Title . . .

Would cause you to stay? If 100% sure? If an 80% probability that we would win the BCS (or whatever it'll be) next year would you stay another season or take the NFL $$$?

If it was 100% I would stay.
Odds are if you're a first rounder and it was 100% winning the championship if you stay.....then that means you didn't get hurt right?
Shite I over-analyzed.

Id probably still rather make a few million

Depends on what I personally wanted. Take the $$$ and play for several years? Maybe, provided I saved it accordingly and didn't get injured ending my football playing days. Don't buy a bunch of million dollar homes, cars, etc..... Won't be playing football forever.
Get the degree and use it after football? It certainly couldn't hurt.
To answer your question, personally I'd get the degree and then go. Look at Reid. Great example. He's got a little girl, he got his degree, he's lighting it up in San Fran, he also is very smart so I think he'd be smart with his money.
I'm not trying to bash any former Tiger at all, it's just a fact that some people aren't careful with their money. That can be said in any workplace.
I wish every former Tiger success.

If it were just a 100% chance at getting a ring, I'd still take the millions. The only way I'd consider staying is if you were looking at statistics like a 75% chance for a title, but a 100% chance of staying injury-free.

I'd go the Peyton Manning route since it's obvious that turning down the draft turned him into a superhuman with regards to injuries that would've ended the careers of mere mortals.
But really, a title would be less important to me than how I felt about my team, my coaches, and school. No title would be worth being miserable over but an awesome environment that you only get once chance at experiencing filled with friends and simply a joy to be at could make it easy to delay things, so it would really depend on the circumstances.
That said, the chances of a career ender are slimmer than advertised in this day and age and the rookie cap put off the big payday til the 2nd contract making things less enticing if you do your homework. Even with an injury your senior year, few positions are so delicate that your earnings are irrevocably compromised so a lot boils down to whether or not you're happy where you are and if you're in a financial position to stay. The hero status SEC fans award to big time players who stick it out is unrivaled.
Also, everything isn't about money, especially when you love playing and love where you're at, but players should always consider the pros and cons for their position and situation without getting either too scared or too starry eyed about cash that isn't always what the contract looks like or the draft analysts and agents claim it will be if you go at x time.

it wouldn't be about the title so much as the financial situation for the player IMO.
If you come from a well-off family like Andrew Luck you can afford to buy insurance and take a chance on getting hurt. If you don't and can't afford the insurance/potential lost income you have to go pro most likely.
I think most guys going pro if they project for the 1st or 2nd round are making a decent choice if they can save some of their money. They guys going in the 3rd round? Maybe, but probably not. The guys going in the later rounds should have stayed to get a degree and try to improve their draft status to make more money on their only guaranteed payday in the NFL. The average NFL career is only 3 years. Planning to get to the second payday faster is less important than cashing in on the only guaranteed payday.

I really really want to say I'd consider staying, but I'd be downright paranoid about getting injured.

I think position is important also. If I'm a first round graded QB I can possibly return and be OK. A skill guy with the same grade probably needs to go assuming all other things are equal.
It's probably most often the smartest idea to go. Too much luck goes into deciding the NC.

Just because he was projected a 1st rounder by Mel Kiper, doesnt mean he would be a first rounder
Noone is drafting an arm that weak early in the draft

If I had a degree worth pursuing, like one in engineering, philosophy, or any other science.
It would have to be from a really good school too.
