It sure seems some schools that are signing so many are either going to have a lot not qualify and know it or their are some kids getting processed to greyshirts or getting offer pulled.

And if you read anything on a certain school that lost horribly they are getting about 60 five stars to turn with this extra time they have this year. And do they get 200 scholarships

knowing how ruthless certain coaches are I would be worried I don't actually get that promised scholarship.

Do any kids really understand how signing day can go down.

Recruiting is and always has been a dirty process and there is no view in the near future of it getting better.

The best advice I can give to any recruit is listen to your parents because they want the best for you in most cases.

Really wish college football would go to a true early signing period.

Les miles is pretty good about honoring the commits. I think that's why we didn't get santos bc miles asked him to hold out. He's a stand up guy and doesn't want to have to resort to breaking promises.

Yet Les Miles and LSU got berated by fricking espn even before sec set the 25 limit. Oh yeah and that player is our starting center.

I still dont see how teams like Tamu, Aub and Tenn have signed 30 recently. Yet Les is one of the biggest oversigners according to the media.

In fact we only oversigned once, and i think its because all the players actually qualified when the staff didnt think they would. So id think thats a good thing. Oh shite these guys hunkered down and made their grades, now lets bash LSU and their head coach.

Agreed. Still waiting for the report of how Elliot Porter went from greyshirt to starting center and his whole life wasn't ruined. I'm sure it will be on ESPN next week.

I don't see how people still don't understand how the SEC over-signing rules work. You can have 25 counters per calendar year. If in the previous class you did not have 25 counters, you can back count from your current class with early enrollees provided you have room on the 85 for those players (this is key). The schools that are signing classes of 30+ are NOT over-signing.

There was a real problem with over-signing and I would argue that it's been fixed with the current rules.

Tennessee this year is an exception. I don't know how they're going to fit these guys in with only 5 available spots for back counters in the last class. They won't be able to get all of their current commits in this class.
