I have two tickets purchased through ticketmaster to The Eagles concert in New Orleans on Sunday Feb 23rd. I can't make the concert due to work and am selling them for what I paid. Tickets are in section 102 row 6 and are $393.

I remember seeing the Eagles' Hell Freezes Over Tour at the Superdome for $60 . Shows how damn old I am.

I think it shows how the OP is trying to rip someone off bigtime.

Heady go check the prices on ticketmaster if you think I'm trying to rip someone off.

And the $60 seats are in the nosebleed.

Well I am sorry you got ripped off. $200 for a seat that isn't even a floor is an absurd amount, regardless of what band is playing.

I am not a Kid Rock fan by any means but I remember reading an article where he set the show price at $20 for the entire tour as a thank you to the fans.

The Eagles have been raking cash in from "reunion" tours for decades now. But hell, I guess if people are willing to pay than more power to them.

No way in hell I'd pay that, but I did see the Eagles on one of their three dates at Madison Square Garden last month. Great show.

Friend of mine sent out a mass text asking who wanted to go see the Eagles.

Text: Who wants to see Eagles. Tix go on sale next week.

Lucky: Sure, I'll go. Let me know how much the tix are.

Text: Not sure, but trying to get a bunch to go. Will be fun.
-------

Text: OK, I bought XXX Tickets, section A, row y, seats 1-6. $195 each. You're still going, Lucky right?

Lucky: shite. Yes. (feel obligated now)

Damn. Their 2012 Jazz Fest set will have to remain my only time of seeing the fricking eagles man.

ETA: For emphasis - that was almost 20 years ago - my twin daughters had just turned 1 year old - 1 is married and the other is at Basic Combat Training right now.

Exactly right. And Melissa Ethridge was the opening act. She rocked pretty well, IIRC.

My seats were first level above the floor directly in front of the stage.

I think so, too. I remember her saying something about "this huge place".
