So Mrs Tigerdik and I just finished Attack on Titan, sword art online, and Blood+.
Is there anything remotely close to this that We need to be watching?
TIA

YuYu Hakusho
One of my favorite animes.
Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo are also very good.

How did I forget Tenchi!?!?
I haven't watched anime in far too long, besides rewatching Yu Yu Hakusho the past couple of weeks. I need to download some Tenchi...

Dragon Ball Z

Allow me to direct you to this magical thread
It has pretty much anything you'll ever need to watch. But to get you going I'll suggest Hellsing Ultimate and Psycho-Pass, happy hunting

If you are looking for something new then I would suggest Kill la Kill or The Devil is a Part Timer. Too many older ones to mention.

Momotaro's Divine Sea Warriors (1945)
Filmed while Japan was about to lose the war, this shows the "Peach Boy" of Japanese folklore capturing an enemy-held island with help from his cute bear, monkey, and puppy friends.
One scene shows our hero interrogating a British prisoner (who speaks English -- allegedly this role was dubbed by an actual British POW who disappeared before the war's end).
Classic final section has our juvenile heroes practicing for the invasion of America by parachuting onto a map of the US. The last shot is of the gang laughing as they march off in the shadow of Mt. Fuji...

I'd go to the big thread.
Best casual shows are Cowboy Bebop, Steins;Gate, Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Baccano!, and Fate/Zero.
These shows are all good and easy for most people to get into.
Also, I'd heavily suggest Nodame Cantabile if you can stomach classical music. My wife doesn't really like anime or video games (or any hobbies of that sort), but adores that show.
