I wrote this off as a loss at the beginning of the season, just a bad matchup at a tough venue.

However, after last night I'm even more upset over the losses @ NE and NY. If we finish either of those games on top we maintain our cushion over Carolina.

How can you not be

I think I've had a pretty clear head about it, but when your 9-2 team looking poised to make a run at a title gets butt fricked on national television...it's a big deal whether you thought we would lose or not

Freezing rain in Seattle. Especially considering the kind of football team Seattle has, I'm not surprised. I'm momentarily butthurt about the skullfricking they got, but the season must go on.

I'd rather get goatse'd then barely lose on a last second fg. We will destroy them in January

it works 1 of 2 ways that I've seen it happen

1. team collapses from a beating like this...see the 5-0 2009 NY giants after getting housed by NOLA

2. team responds and it lights a fire under their arse - actually cannot think of a specific example...that's not good.

The weather is a weak excuse. I was outside about 2 miles from the stadium during the second quarter. It was around 38 and barely drizzling. If 38 with a very slight drizzle is that much of a problem, good luck trying to win on the road in January

Can you tell me what games I should write off for the rest of the season?

ETA: I love your post history

re: 0-3 cause of Brees (Posted on 12/11/12 at 8:43 am to misterdavamoto)

The whole "We won a Superbowl because of Drew" argument is just plain wrong.

He played a huge part, but we made it to the Superbowl and won because of Drew AND a great turnover-creating scoring defense AND a quality running game.

The 2009 defense was THIRD in the NFL in int's (reg season).

Funny how people forget and place everything on Drew (good and bad).

second straight game where Brees ints are the deciding factor

Was I in the same Seattle yesterday? I was not cold nor wet much yesterday and I wasn't running around playing a sport.

I'm going to agree with what the guy up there said about us being butt fricked in national television. At least make an attempt to look like we belong in the talk for making a Super Bowl run. We got beat down in every phase of the game last night.

I'm a little torn... see, I'm not mad at the beatdown we took... it seems unreal to me. It was a piss poor performance, no excuses.

But on the other side. . . I'm not concerned about the future of this team going into the playoffs.

It may be blind faith, but I see the holes in our team, And I think we can bounce back just fine. There are some tough weeks left for every contender in the NFL... Our luck will come back

Not only will the Saints have a hard time winning on the road in the playoffs, even if they make it to the Super Bowl, they will have to play outdoors in what will probably be the first Super "Snow" Bowl. Still can't believe the NFL voted to have the Super Bowl in New Jersey in February! What the hell? There's a reason Super Bowls have always been held in either warm climates or indoor stadiums!!

Me neither. The Seahawks are fricking good in case nobody noticed. We'll bounce back.
