Mental Weakness

Generally I would think this is a result of coaching, but Payton doesn't strike me as mentally weak and neither does Brees. Why is it our offense completely crumbles and takes a 180 degree turn on the road? There seems to always be MUCH less intensity, heart and mental toughness away from home.
Nearly 2 TD's worse away from the dome...Champions don't play that way.
Gotta score a TD on this drive, or this could get out of hand early.
