That's always sad to hear. I've given up on comfort in favor of safety whenever my boat is in transit. It pisses off some of.my passengers but that's my rule in the boat.

This girl I'm really good friends with. That's her cousin. Called me up yesterday morning crying. She told me he didn't know how to swim. I still can't wrap my head around that.

Standard rule in my boat: life jackets on when underway. Don't like it, then start swimming.
