The level of stupidy and unrealistic expectations

by many posters on this board is truly remarkable. So many of you have no concept of how fortunate we are to have the football program that we have here at LSU and yes Les Miles is directly responsible for much of that success. Take a look around and see what some of the other great football programs have done recently. Get real you bunch of Negatigers! Would you rather have Brown, Pelini, Stoops, Muschamp? Get real folks!

I like this post.
Edit: But I do at the very least expect the team to be reasonably disciplined, fundamentally strong, and competitive, which I think we've accomplished in recent years.

We don't have a historically dominant football program. Our success has been very recent. The expectations and definition of success at LSU is actually a low bar. It doesn't take much to satisfy a large number of LSU fans.

The expectations for next year are already getting out of hand. Some who have such unrealistic hopes are just naive while others I think have unsavory motives such as tearing down the program because they simply enjoy chaos.
Anyone who claims that next years team will be overloaded with talent is either stupid or has evil intentions.

CLM is an excellent recruiter an excellent program builder and a great guy but not much of a game day X's & O's head coach. LSU will only be as good as the guys Miles surrounds himself with, period.

The main issue with LSU fans here is the fact that the measuring stick is one of the greatest coaches and program runs of all time.
They're driving a NASCAR stock car while everyone else is driving factory made vehicles. It is what it is.
LSU fans here expect LSU AND ONLY LSU to be on the same once in a decade run/program run every single year.
Law of average tells you no. It's not going to happen. The level of success and consistency that's LSU has been on for the last 10 years is just as good as MANY we've seen throughout history and we've been VERY fortunate to have such winning seasons like we've seen.
People that want Miles gone wants to risk this foundation of stability with Miles.
