Jennings to Dural was probably our best bet for a Deep Ball

Jarvis is good. Jarvis is great. Jarvis is not a deep threat.

Deep balls are all about timing, and you could see that in the Jarvis post routes. Mett was throwing OBJ deep balls.

I bet Jennings is more used to Durals timing at this point, and Dural was our best deep ball WR with OBJ out.

Sometimes things work out.

Do you think Jennings could throw to himself? Probably could do it.

Jennings to Dural was about Cameron identifying a tendency by Arkansas' defense that he thought LSU could take advantage of; namely, that Collins kept sitting on underneath stuff all day.

Not much timing really needs to be involved when a dude has 5 steps on a DB. But I agree you could tell that Jarvis and Mett don't run some of the those deep routes in game situations as much as they needed to with OBJ hurt.

Jarvis is a threat, no matter the situation you put him in

Jarvis had a major role to play even on this play. They basically had 3 guys accounting for him which sprang durall free.

He was our best option because they tripled team Jarvis on that play. No one covered Dural, it had nothing to do with timing. We out coached them, called TO, put Jarvis in the slot had told Jennings to throw a go route to Dural.

Every pass has to do with timing.
