Standard Scoring

Fitz@phi - leaning yes
Allen vs cin - leaning yes
Spiller vs ATL - thinking about it. Still holding out hope after the bye week to rest the ankle.
Cunningham @ sf- one week possible plug if Stacy is out
Vereen@hou - leaning no
Garcon vs nyg - leaning no

I'm tied in 6th place but lose the tiebreaker (points) so I need to win and some help.

I would say definitely Fitz.

You can roll Allen or Vereen and almost guarantee double digits. Allen is still nursing a knee injury but put up great numbers last week even with that. Vereen is in line to get a lot of play with Ridley and Blount both fumbling last week and in Bill's doghouse - especially Ridley. I'd still probably roll Fitz/Allen though.

So we agree on fitz. I almost left him off and said pick 1.

Anyone think the risk is worth it with Spiller? I should probably take the safer points. I can't afford less than 5 from anyone this week. I'm going against the first place in points and record.

I don't because

Spiller may deliver a 15 point game or FJax may have the 15 point game. The Buffalo backfield is good and either would make a fine RB2 or flex but I wouldn't risk it with your other options.

If you can't afford any less than 5 from whoever you put in your flex, I think Vereen is definitely your safer bet. As BrentED said, Ridley and Blount are in the doghouse with hoodie, so he'll get plenty of volume and hasn't scored less than 7-8 points in any game he's played in all year.

Spiller on the other hand could re-aggravate his nagging injury or just simply tank (which he's been known to do). He's also in a timeshare with a hungry and capable FJax.

Spiller will get you 0-25 points.
Vereen will get you 8-20 points.

Thanks for the input. I think I roll with Vereen. He murdered the Texans last year. 30+ if I remember correctly.
