I think it's all up in the air. I'd really like Cotton but the SEC will play favorites again with A&M.

Well, it is bowl selection. It literally is a popularity contest. (And they're exhibition games--not the biggest deal one way or another.)

Alabama, Auburn, Missouri, and South Carolina are going to (in no particular order) a BCS bowl, another BCS bowl, the CapitalOne Bowl, and the Outback Bowl. Cotton Bowl gets the next pick. If Missouri beats A&M, looks like LSU goes to the Cotton Bowl. If A&M beats Missouri, then I'm guessing the Aggies go to Dallas.

Then I think Atlanta gets the next pick:
- LSU 9-3
- Georgia 8-4
- Ole Miss 8-4
- Vanderbilt 8-4

And I think LSU gets passed over for that for some reason.

Off to Jacksonville, which would be great since this would give LSU fans something to bitch about.

Cotton or former Citrus Bowl.
I think 9-3 LSU has an equal chance as a 9-3 TX A&M for the Cotton Bowl UNLESS the Cotton Bowl can choose Texas. In that case, the Cotton Bowl will definitely prefer the Aggies over LSU. Otherwise, don't assume a consecutive trip to a Jerry World for TAMU. Bowls don't like back-to-back appearances by teams generally.
LSU has a strong possibility to head to the bowl formerly known as Citrus if Mizzou loses to TAMU & USC loses to Clemson. If both happen & USC loses in the SECCG, LSU can book its tix to Orlando.

Cotton Bowl is the best realistic possibility. If Texas were available then they might want an A&M/Texas match-up but otherwise I'd think LSU would be a better choice
