Thor 2 was pretty solid. I really liked it.

Haven't seen Catching Fire, but my advice is on a date, defer to the chick.

At home, you rule the remote like motherfricking Zeus on Olympus.

I would go with Thor simply because it has already been out and will not be as crowded. They are expecting Catching Fire to break records which probably means theaters will be packed.

This. I'm going to see Catching Fire tomorrow...during the day AND at the nicer theater where I pick my seats. I would not want to go tonight and deal with all the teeny boppers being dropped off by their parents to see this movie.

Also...tell your gf Thor looks HOT in this movie. Maybe that will help sway her vote.

I saw Catching Fire today, it was pretty good. Definitely better then Hunger Games. And it stayed prettt much straight from the book. It's also 2 and half hours plus 20 minute previews
