My girlfriend quit her job today due to a terrible boss who treats her like dirt. I'd like to take her out to celebrate finally getting out/to make her feel better.

Where is the place to take he? I haven't been to a lot of restaurants here since I moved. I've heard Jolie Bistro or Charley G's is the place to go. Which one do i take her to? Somewhere else?

I like Pamplona Tapas there but I'm not very familiar with the cuisine in Laffy

People on the board seem to love Charley G's, but I haven't been in years, so I can't offer an opinion about it.

I have been to Jolie's and really enjoyed it. Ruffino's on the River is another good choice.

A more casual place, but really good food, is Steve & Pat's Bon Temp Grill.

We've been to Bon Temps a few times, really enjoyed it. I'm looking for something different. Never tried Pamplona either.

Take her to Pamplona, she'll enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, tapas, and sangria, to take her mind off of work, ENJOY !
