ESPN is probably hoping Brees is the one fined and Ray Lewis said last night he would pay half of Brooks' fine.

What I absolutely love about this is if this were the Saints hitting Kaepernick, the NFL would just tell us, "Deal with it".

I want someone to follow up and make sure Lewis pays half his fine.

All of the media just looks at the hit itself then comes to their conclusion instead of also watching Brooks drag Brees down by his head and neck after the hit.

I would like to think ESPN would not be happy with them comments and pledge Lewis made the other night.

Is Ray Lewis going to cover the fine from every bad hit that comes along now?

When Ray Lewis was in the midst of the murder scandal, I pulled out my debit card to a waitress at Denny's and said "If Ray Lewis is convicted of this murder, I will pay for half the meals in here!"

Boy, what a genius move in hindsight

And we won the game because of it. They were so happy that we dropped a possible pick 6, lance fricked up then Brees fricked up..in the end it was their own guys that cost them the game.

I imagine their elation, with what they figured was a recovery. They probably stood up in their homes with celebration. To win a game they desperately needed, in a hostile undefeated environment...with all the luck on their side...Then, it was all taken away.

Check out this angle you can see he has Drew around the neck and head and is pulling him down.

if this were the Saints hitting Kaepernick, the NFL would just call it proof of a bounty scandle, suspend our coach, take our draft pick like a pimp would take a $20 bill from a hoe and torpedo our entire season.

This thought makes me happy.

Imagining all the gang stabbings, lovers quarrels, and craft beers thrown all over San Francisco, as we fricked away their dreams of upsetting us in the Dome, is one of the most enjoyable feelings in the world

This x100. I keep telling everyone this. Even if the hit was "across the shoulders" he still broght him down by his head. I don't think people are comprehending this.

If Brooks had, say, paralyzed Drew, would he be alive today?

You know - that penalty didn't cost the Niners the game anyway. That had chances to stop the Saints on that drive AND the next drive and they didn't get it done.

They also had a final possession to win the game late.

And if the call stands - who says it would have "iced" the game. The Saints also had timeouts. Lots of coulda woulda shoulda from these whiners.

Thats because not once have I seen ESPN, NBC, Fox, et al show the completion of the tackle. All you see is the replay of the initial contact.

Regardless of how it started, Brooks tackled him by his neck and probably facemask. Its still a penalty.

I totally agree. The media is focusing on one aspect of the hit and not the entire tackle.

The fricking panel after monday night football that consisted of Steve Young Trent Dilfer and Ray Lewis can all suck a fat cock and diaff, steve and trent would have both been in drews position and they would have both wanted the same call. And I agree with everyone he takes him down by his head all the way to the ground which makes it all more worse.
