permanent crossover opponents now after the Auburn/Georgia game?
I would say slim and none!

The LSU/Fla permanent series may be over after 2014.
The traditional rivalries below will be preserved.
AU/UGA
UT/BAMA

The SEC needs to get rid of permanents. It favors some teams every year.

it definitely didn't help.
i still like spurrier's idea of playing your desired crossover as a non conf opponent and not counting it as an SEC game if you have a year where your traditional opponent is not on your sec schedule.
texas doesn't play A&M anymore and coll fb somehow survives.

So you are saying if the Auburn/Georgia game had sucked, then there would have been a chance for Alleva to wave his magic wand and get permanent crossover opponents changed?
You people are clueless as to how things work. I wish I had the time of day to sit around and dream this crap up.

This is the correct answer...it is very simple.

The SEC needs to get rid of permanents. It favors some teams every year.
Does anyone think it strange that LSU fans, not just content to declare Alabama's rivalry with Tennessee a fraud, now seem to want to have a veto over all SEC traditional games?
Doesn't the hubris get a little old in LA kingdom? Doesn't anyone finally get embarassed that only LSU fans go on and on about schedules and other team's rivalries?
It's become a standard joke throughout the conference. I suggest... withdraw from the SEC, go to the Big-12. Problem solved.
