This week on Palladia is airing Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar festivals from the first 3 shows. Currently airing now.

Some of the best collection of top guitarist of all time.

I'm on a 30 minute delay on my DVR. Not sure what song your referencing.

Watching Clapton, robert randolph and robert cray at the moment.

Was a good sgow indeed. I think they have gotten better with each one. With 2013 being my favorite.

2010. Believe it or not, his 2013 set is even better. Killed it.

There's no doubt about that. He is incredibly raw with his sound, and I love that.

However, from a skills and technical standpoint… he doesn't touch Mayer. It's not even close.

Regardless of who you find better, watch this video. Two of the younger guys absolutely killing it. It's guys like Gary Clark Jr, Trucks, Mayer, Bonamassa that are keeping the blues alive.

fricking Awesome

I've seen clips of it. I know he played "When My Train Comes In" which is one of the best songs I've heard in years. It's unbelievable even as a recorded version, which is really hard to do. The second solo makes me smile like an idiot.

He opened at Jazz fest with that, and I almost jacked off.

If I remember correctly, his entire set for 2013 was about 30 minutes. I don't think they will put the entire set on the new dvd. It was the long set of any one performer on the 2nd day and it was spectacular. I didn't make day 1, but I hear Allman Brothers played for a good while as well.

I'm pumped for the 2013 dvd release next week. Cant wait to see what I missed on the first day.

I thought you meant on the dvd. ZZ follows Vaughan and Cray on dvd. I guess they have a condenced version for tv.

Sonny plays in all of the Crossroads and usually opens. Good friend with Clapton and is from Louisiana.
