Absolutely HORRIBLE!!

I wasn't looking for this to be an Academy Award contender. I thought it might be a nice comical escape type flick. It was beyond bad. Don't waste your time.

Well the wife, myself, and others laughed at it, what did you expect from a 40 yr old Adam sandler still acting like he did when he was on SNL.

I rented it on redbox last night. I wasn't expecting anything other then a few laughs since it's an Adam Sandler movie, but holy sheet it was terrible. This has to be Sandler's last movie. I mean WOW.

It's a Adam Sandler movie. It's suppose to be stupid with a few laughs.

Almost made 250 mil, so no. He'll probably make Grown Ups 3 and it'll be 90 mins of them watching a football game.

Like I said, I wasn't expecting much and what I got was pathetic. Who finances movies that are this bad? It's not even watchable. My 11 year old even said, this movie isn't funny. It stinks.

And he loves Sandler.

I don't see how Grown Ups warranted a sequel. Other than Sandler seeing the opportunity to shoot the shite with his buds and make a movie out of it, knowing people would spend money to watch it. Sandler has had maybe one funny movie since the Water Boy. I thought Zohan was alright.

Yall are serious with this?. It is what it is. First of all, it is a really stupid, secondly it does have some chuckle moments. I wouldn't ever watch it on my own but the kids like it, and Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2 are pretty harmless.

FWIW I thought Taylor Lautner was hilarious. Everytime he was on screen I was laughing.

Adam sandler has the recipe for making money and has been using it for years to make that $$$$$$ from those of us who grew up watching him on SNL

Come up with cheesy stupid movie idea
Put all his friends in the movie ( he has faults but loyality his friends is not one of them)
Happy Madison produces movie
Write in fart, sex, animal, homophobic, and racist jokes
Get a good looking women to play girlfriend/ wife/love interest
People spend $$$$$ to watch
Sandler and friends bank

That's exactly why American comedies for the past 10+ years have been terrible for the most part, with the exception of a couple of Apatow and co films. Because movie watchers spend $10+ to see craptastic Sandler films that have zero creativity. I honestly don't understand why people think his films in this century have been funny, unless they really think fart jokes are funny. I'll stick to watching British comedies and the occasional film that has some of the Freaks and Geeks crew in it.

The Mummy Returns was my favorite movie at his age, so there's hope he can still turn out good, like me.
