I'm the first to defend Alleva, believe me. However, if you were to tell me LSU could hire Tom Jurich I would personally help Joe pack his bags

That is a little misleading....Louisville actually drew an average of 9500 per game last year Check the column on the left for the number, so it isn't like people haven't been going to the games at all.

I suspect that since tonight was part of the WNIT, the tickets were not part of the season ticket package and they were trying to drum up interest in the game from that standpoint, and it worked, I guess. They had drawn 7500 and 6700 for their previous 2 home games this year.

My Point was they are using Beer at an NCAA Game and I guess this has been common practice at some places. It sounds like it was to get more people but also to help out Concessions. I think some people are thinking out the Box to get Attendance and increase Concessions. I think Alleva needs to start thinking about some of this for the Football Games next year.

You won't find beer in any SEC concessions

This is correct...sadly, as long as we are in a conference with backwards states like Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi, alcohol will never be allowed in the stadium.

This. I went to ole miss this year and couldn't believe how much effort people there have to make to cover up alcohol.

It's not illegal. If one SEC school stepped forward and did it, most of the SEC would follow.

If LSU doesn't do it, with the heavy Catholic populous, no one in the SEC will do it.
