if the kid from texas goes to UT and jones goes to AL who do we take? this scares me because i believe these 2 could get early playing time. Will brown or paris be moved to Safety? but these guys arent built yet to play safety.we really have no one currently on the roster lighting it up back there maybe thompson or jefferson??For DBU we sure are having a hard time pulling top quality safties Anybody else LSU recruting that could play alot next year as a freshman??

Ole Miss, behind linebackers coach and Texas area recruiter Tom Allen, has made a very strong push with Adams. One source with direct knowledge of Adams’ recruitment calls it now a two team race but between Florida and Ole Miss, not the Longhorns.

if the scenario works out; it will probably be someone who we could really do without. Just got in by default.
I hope it doesn't happen

When's the last time you saw a thread about a recruit ole miss is recruiting and you didn't post an article saying how ole miss isn't out of it?

Eta: not trying to be a dick or say your trolling or anything, but even in the Garrett thread, a player that is heavily favored, you post an article that makes it seem as if LSU isn't heavily favorite. I just see your name in our threads a lot. That's is all.

Also, I think the OP was just saying of he doesn't come to LSU. Not neccessarily saying Ole Miss didn't have a shot. Idk, maybe I'm looking too much into it and if so, I apologize. I just don't see why it's necessary.

Paris could play safety. He is an Eric Reid clone.

And don't forget about Thompson and Jefferson.

I don't agree with the safety having to fit a certain mold. TM is doing fine playing free in Arizona. Let the best cover guys play corner, let the best athletes with good instincts play back there.

We don't need safeties when we'll have CBs who are lockdown on the field.

We'll just bring the S up to the the line as extra LBs. 4-5-2 - 4-4-3 system.

It doesn't matter who is back there if the D-line can get pressure on the QB. Front end and back end must work as a cohesive unit. But it all starts up front.

I think LSU's biggest problem with safeties the last 10 years is calling them safeties. I mean, that sounds so gay.

Safety, safety, safety. Sound it out. It's ridiculous.

We should call it Enforcer or something hard. Then we could pull quality enforcers like Laron Landry and stuff.
