It's obviously not going to be Reese. I hated the set up for the 2nd episode of this 3 episode "event."
I'm beginning to think they're going to kill Carter. I'm just not sure where she goes after all of this.

For a while during tonight's episode, I was thinking that Carter wouldn't make it. It wouldn't surprise me to see her get offed. I think with how they've tried to make everyone think Fusco is the one, it looks like a diversion. They just brought in the new special forces chick, so I doubt it's her. I don't see what Carter adds to the show anymore.

I doubt CBS will build up this "event" to kill the dog.

Nah, I think...like a poster above said, that they are using misdirection with the previews showing Fusco in distress and beaten and near death.

The last ten minutes of last night's episode was pretty great. When it ended I wanted to see more.
For what it's worth, I watch Hawaii Five-0 (same network, being CBS), and a couple weeks ago they billed an episode the exact same way - saying "a hero would fall" and they ended up killing off some guy who had been around for like 2 episodes. So I don't know, maybe like Carter's husband gets killed or something.

I have a feeling it will be Carter too; however, i think she will be presumed dead and start a new life somewhere else. That being said, i think Carter's war of revenge against HR is a little far fetched. I mean her main motivation is revenge bc of killing her BF who she really wasnt all that serious with.
I hope it isnt Shaw. I like what she brings to the Show.

If they kill off Shaw this soon, I'm going to be a little ticked off. I like what they've done with her character. Plus she is pretty hot.
Here is a TV Guide article talking about this 3 episode arc: LINK
In it he says some interesting things like this arc will conclude the whole HR story. It does heavily hint that someone will probably get written off, but the producer says that it'll be someone whose story will have a beginning, a middle and an end.
So unless they do some heavy focusing on Shaw, it won't be her. It won't be Finch or Reese since they are the fixtures of the show. I also don't see it being Root, since this arc doesn't seem to be focusing a whole lot on her unless something changes. So it'll come down to Fusco or Carter. They sure are trying to point the death in Fusco's direction, but I hope it's not him. I think his character beings more to the show than Carter's does.
