Even though we lost, we still put up 90 and played the entire game without Jarrell Martin! I believe this team is poised to go dancing as long as we can stay healthy!

That one was huge. The week link on this squad was at SF the entire game. We have Martin, we win this game hands down. This team has some serious ability that we have not seen in quite a few years. So excited about what they accomplish

I was going to post the exact same thing. The future is bright for these boys, especially when Martin can contribute

Idk the extent of the injury but I'm sure he'll now sit until the tournament in Orlando!

didn't get off to a great start losing our top recruit in the game's first 30 seconds to injury, but we all know they faced some adversity with the excessive whistles. yeah it sucks, but it's college basketball and we know it is going to take a little time to adapt. there were bad calls both ways, and it obviously had an effect on the score, but you gotta be impressed by the effort all things considered, imo.

we still suck at free throws and i didn't think we looked great when we briefly went zone but the press is still alive and well.

umass is a good team, way better than that seton hall team from a year ago. a win would have been great but i actually thought we'd lose by more (with martin). having already played against an acc team was a big bonus for umass.

we missed a lot of open shots and had some really bat possessions late on but, for the most part i liked what i saw and am still encouraged about how good this team can be.

jordan mickey is going to be really good. i like this team we're going to be okay.

those two missed threes at the end would have flipped the winner

Will bridgewater get cleared this year? We could've used another body today

just hope jarrell is back soon and healthy. would hate to see him hampered by a bad ankle all year.

This LSU team is going to be special, in fact.

The Martin injury in the first minute and horrendous officiating are the only reason LSU lost at a veteran, NCAA-potential team with a game under their belts on the road. The Tigers are much better than UMass, and this was an anomaly (good sign for the season).
