You are insufferable. We were winning by 20 points. It really didnt matter if Witten got an extra 2 yards - Vaccaro didn't have to go balls out and risk his neck for the tackle in that manner.
A simple extra step and shoulder tackle would have sufficed. Now were without our 3rd best defensive player for arguably the most difficult and important portion of the schedule. If you don't grasp this than I am truly sorry for your birth defects.

Every current and former player will say the same thing. When you play you go 100% or risk injury.
I'm leaning towards what they say.

That's a cliche that applies to dogging it, not a decision to leave your feet and launch yourself face first into a 250 TEs knees in a 24-point game versus measuring him for an extra step and tackling him traditionally and safely.
These decisions are made constantly now with the newly enforced targeting rule - the players are capable of discretion. Aaron Rodgers and RGIII are perfect examples - they've both become safer and more judicious in their running without "dogging it".
