Obviously 2013 isn't over, but at this rate we'll have 8 of each at the end of the year, which would be the fewest turnovers we've forced since 2005. To put it otherwise, at this rate our number of total turnovers for 2013 will be less than our interceptions alone during 2010, 2011, or 2012.

As in, complete and total lack. May be the worst LSU defense since 2001. 2008 is close but they were thrown behind the 8 ball so often by so many turnovers it's hard to judge them fairly.

This is the worst defense under Miles and it isn't close. Like you said 2008's numbers looked horrible but they were constantly put in bad positions. This year they give up long TD drives more often than they get a stop.

If they are in the NFL, then how can we claim them? Were they not projected to leave for the NFL? How can that be an excuse?
