49ers - Super physical team, great D, have beaten us twice in a row. Coming off a loss, they can't afford to lose to a contender

@ Atlanta (Thursday night) - Short week. Yes they are having a terrible year but its the Falcons.

@ Seattle - The biggest home advantage of any team other than us, best Defense in the league, great running game. Toughest game on the schedule

Panthers - spectacular defense, 1 game behind us in the division. They are legit, and they have always given us problems even when they sucked.

@Rams - for some reason they have given us fits in the past, even in years when we've had great teams. Very physical defense

@Panthers

Damn. That is just brutal. This team we have is very good, but this schedule is backloaded for sure. We all knew that when we saw the schedule, but now that the gauntlet is upon us, it looks even worse in a lot of ways to me. I am concerned about the Panthers, for sure.

I see about 4 more losses.

49ers, Panthers, Seahawks, Falcons.

Who am I kidding? The FALCONS???? THE FALCONS???!?!

No I do see you losing 3 more games though.

Finish 11-5.

Really would have been a nice cushion. Now you cannot slip at all against the teams you should absolutely dominate: St Louis, Atlanta, Tampa. And we might have to sweep Carolina to win the division.

Thankfully we have basically a second bye week before a huge prime time game in Seattle.

Gonna be a great game.

I think we can go 5-2 in this stretch with most likely losses at Seattle and at Carolina.

I think we can take San Fran at home. They don't have any WRs that scare me. Have a great run game, but you can't stick to that when Brees puts up 30 at home on the reg.
Falcons - ain't even worried.
Seattle will be a tough game. I think we can win it, but I'm not going in expecting us to.
Carolina - another tough game but I think we win at home.
@ St Louis - pass rush is a little scary, but I think we can ground and pound on them.
@ Carolina. We almost never play great games there and this late and this cold...have to give the edge to the Panthers.

Realized your forgot the last Bucs game at home. We take that easy.

Hopefully it will give is a little taste of some cold weather game action for a potential trip to New York

agree. but, it looks like there is good chance that the 2 wild cards will come out of the south and west.

I didn't forget it. It just didn't fit into my "schedule is brutal" thoughts.

Two things. We almost beat them last season with the worst D in the league and a very inconsistent O.

I like the Saints at home, with, hopefully, improved OLine play and a hungry running game. San Fran is throwing for about 190yards a game. Make their QB beat you. It shouldn't be a repeat of the Jets game.

Won't be a walk, but a should win.

I agree. Definitely the toughest game. However, Seattle has looked downright pedestrian at home at times. I'd expect a good showing from both teams and a good game. They can win it, but the odds are not in their favor.

I'm not completely sold on them yet. They beat a San Fran team that they knew would run the ball. The Saints can throw on them and will. Close game, but I give the nod at home.

This game scares me. For all intents and purposes, should be a win. But smashed in between two games with the Panthers, could easily be a loss.

Depends on the health of both teams at this point. Panthers are always a tough win for the Saints in Carolina. Nothing guaranteed here.

Fact is, I could see two more losses here. Depending on the need for the Tampa game, 12-4 isn't out of the question.

Yeah, I have a feeling 12-4 is the most realistic option. Could get 13-3 with some breaks

Yeah I just saw Carolina's schedule and that is really rough.

NE
@ Miami
Tampa
@ New Orleans
NYJ
New Orleans
@ Atlanta

Beating SF and Seattle are crucial to getting the top seed since they are the biggest threats. Glad SF is at home.
