What is wrong with passing several times in a row? Why do you have to wastes two downs before you pass and if it works in an obvious passing situation shouldn't it work when defenses expect the run as well? Wouldn't it make running game more effective too? I think Utah beat Alabama in Sugar Bowl by doing that.
