re: Rick Perry: Iowa yesterday and South Carolina today

I'd run but I don't meet the minimum age qualifications. Also, I'm merely a figment of the Poliboard's collective imaginations. I mean, an intellectually honest conservative who isn't a neo-con, evangelical, or libertarian who rarely resorts to flames, regularly links supporting evidence, and actively debates liberal posters while keeping a rational and open mind? Sounds like a witch to me.

What? If he runs he will have a good shot.. The media won't be able to Uncle Tom him or dig up dirt fake or real. They also need to get the hispanic vote and they need a woman.

If Rand (or whoever does) make it out the gate Susana Martinez should be their Veep. Or Rand as treasury sec. Just no more McCain's or Romney's.

Take away the teleprompter, and Obama ("I'm gonna run in all 57 states") can come across as an idiot, too.

At least Rick Perry actually did a pretty good job of running a government. Obama is a complete bozo.

I believe the debate performance is blaimed on Perry not sleeping the night before. He had a major back issue and was on heavy pain killers.

I believe it's outlined in the new book Double Down. I haven't read it yet but heard that was the case.

I heard that too about Perry he was groggy from back surgery and pain meds.

Whether anyone likes it or not I think these two (from left to right) will be VP and POTUS.

I thought so wasn't sure. Thank you. great speaker

Boy that would piss off the rednecks. A chunky Yankee Italian Catholic from New Jersey and a woman Latina from New Mexico. The preacher side of the Republican party will won't know what to do.

She is a good speaker, a former democrat and would make history as she was the first female hispanic governor and would be the first female hispanic VP.

LINK

Susana shoots at the shooting range during her spare time so the rednecks and Ted Nugent love her.

LINK

ETA: The LEFT will detest her because she :GASP: shoots guns.

If he was in Cali, NY, or Illinois we could say he was trying to recruit companies to move to Texas.

But I don't know how many businesses there are to steal from Iowa or SC (and SC isn't a high-tax, high-regulatory state like the ones mentioned earlier).

So yeah, probably another run.

What is Perry like IRL? Every time I see his name, I picture him cocking his head sideways looking at Palin in lust; when she was itroing him on stage back when she campaigned for him.

that's what I envision him as, too. Just a twangy-talkin pussyhound

ETA: but I love it. It's hilarious to me.
