I don't hunt climbers anymore because it's just too easy to climb a ladder. I occasionally hunt some of the lockons on our place, but mainly stick to my ladders that I can be fully set up in and comfortable in about 30 seconds

Ladders or boxes. Depends on the weather and how sleepy I am

lock on or climber

I like the ability to be mobile

I hate, hate, hate sitting in a box stand. Just a miserable experience.

I only bowhunt so boxes are out. I need to build some little covers for my ladders next offseason. Got stuck sitting in 40 degree rain last season

I'm more concerned about the seat than the stand.

I don't like a hard uncomfortable seat. I have either office chairs or tailgate foldable chairs in my stands/blinds.

I love being in a Lock-on. There's just something different about being in a tree with nothing beneath you. I feel like I am more a part of the woods in a lock-on. I hate the climb up/down though.

I prefer to hunt a lock on that I have previously hung. I can slip in and be up a tree pretty much without making any racket. Don't mind jacking up a tree with a climber either, just prefer the lock on. I harbor no hate for box stand hunting either. By far the best option for getting a kid on a deer.

If I am tired I like a 4x8 box stand.

If Im feeling like Rick and trying to embrace the pines, I like a lock on in a tight spot.

My favorite stand is my dads 10x10 storage shed on a 2 acre food plot in the middle of the woods.

Boxtstand.

I have never hunted a climber or lock-on, and haven't been on a ladder stand in 20 years.

As you can tell, I'm a hardcore hunter.

Box stands, but I also hunt the ground when the deer are in rut.
