Does cod ghosts have good single player elements?

Is the campaign worth a shite? Are there any game modes for single player besides campaign? Like the challenges and such in some past versions?
Reason I'm asking is I picked it up today but my internet and phone is out at my house until Thursday.

The campaigns in COD are window dressing, they have never been long, and it's one reason I never buy them at full price.

COD 4 was like 8 hours or some shite wasn't it and MW2 was pretty long. MW3 and the Black Ops ones were short.

COD2 and WAw had long, great campaigns.
mw2,mw,bo they became shorter and boring.
