Will Smith Movies

Has his son killed your interest in Will's career?
Oddly enough, yes.
Not that I ran out to see his movies in the first place. If it looked good, I would go but I've never rushed out to see a movie just because Will Smith was in it.
Now I don't even pay attention to anything with Will even though I have probably missed out on a couple of decent films.
Can't even explain why I dislike him forcing his son on everyone. Just don't.

Will Smith movies have always been mediocre to me (at least until my taste in film didn't suck). The only good films he's been in are Ali and I am Legend.

Disliking something a little does not equate to hating something. Just because I am willing to point out a flaw in a movie I like doesn't mean I hate it.

I never liked his movies very much. I own over 300 movies on DVD and he is in none of them.

Yeah, I use to be more of a Will Smith fan. Definitely not of late in terms of his movie decisions and promoting his kid. I don't blame him, but it's really awful.

Looking back at his career I'm not sure that Will Smith has ever been in a really good movie. Some of them like MIB have been very watchable, but really not anything incredibly special. Everything that he has made that I have seen has just been very commercially safe or an attempt at being commercially safe. I guess he's always just been about making money, although there certainly is a place for that.
