When he works out with 315 on bench he does it so effortlessly that he rattles the plates like I do with 1 plate.

Imagine him on a safety blitz, full steam a la Brodie Croyle 2005 and John Parker Wilson 2006.

2005

The guy could legitimately compete in muscle building competitions.

No. Not with what I am seeing.

28 reps at 300 is very good for a guy that weighs 215

That guy is freaking huge. I feel like he could easily move down to linebacker if his team needed him to

I'm actually a little surprised at his bench. I assume he doesn't go much higher to protect his shoulders, but 315 on bench isn't that insane.

I am not. I used to work out at Warriors Gym in HS, owned by the WWF wrestler The Ultimate Warrior, and the most he ever did on bench was 135, a plate on each side. He would do like 50+ reps but he was SWOLE and never lifted heavy on bench!

He trains his upper body to be explosive...that means he is pushing up 315 faster than anyone on this board probably pushes 135.

The Rock squats no more than 315 and look at him...90% of the reason these guys look the way they do is genetics and diet. The workout matters a lot less than those two ever could...LaRon would look like that if he just did bodyweight training too.

You do know that there are varying levels of competition, right? I'm not saying the guy could go out and win Olympia, but he sure as frick could go out to the ones around Indy and compete if not win them. Especially so if he ever decided that's what he wanted to do, seeing as how he has the dedication to change his weight and body mass for a specific opponent every week LINK

LaRon is very impressive, but he went to same HS and grew up in the small town area; although many years later.
He has a great opportunity to leave a positive image, if he gave back just a little of his time and treasure to the community. Ed Reed is from a near by rival HS and has done a much better job of remembering his roots.
The Landry Brothers need to do the Same.
