I'd say it's a pretty even trad but both your new players have more upside.
Nicks is hit or miss this year (sadly a bit more miss) but the Giants haven't given up in the terrible East yet so his stats may go up if they can right the ship.
Mathews was a top 5 pick last year. Dude has talent. He's just made of glass.
Both the other players are past their fantasy prime and are on teams that are going nowhere this year.

Upgrade from Jackson to Mathews, Jackson might just be done from the looks of things.
Downgrade from Johnson to Nicks.

im weak at running back i had to make a trade, so my team now looks like

i didnt want to give up johnson, but i feel comfortable with the recivers i have, and thats the only way i could upgrade my running backs

Based upon your lineup I'd say you upgraded. A Johnson was your 3rd best receiver. Ellington, DHB, Nicks, or Boykin will likely be consistent enough by the playoffs to not make you miss Johnson's flex numbers.
