Yeah, you read it right. 370.

3Frickin 70.

Is this getting a little too out of hand, or is it totally badass? I remember when bows were first hitting 300 fps and people were freaking out. Now, 400 doesn't seem that far fetched anymore.

I hate a x bow as much as the next guy, but anyone toting a bow slinging arrows 350+ fps don't have a whole lot of room to talk.

My Bowtech Ally is hitting 278 and I consider it to be pretty swuft, but damn. PSE has been rolling out some absolute heaters the last few years.

Oh, and I am completely considering getting a "speed bow" when I can justify the $. Maybe a PSE, maybe another bowtech.

Eta: notice the brace height on this thing @ 5 1/4". Jesus

Nah. If any company can consistently hit IBO, it's PSE.

Your statement is more in line with Mathews.

I shot a Matthews black max that looked very similar to this rig and was supposed to push 350 . It was fast as hell but very very unforgiving .

With the IBO calculator thingy I just looked up, I could expect around 348-355 fps with a 29" draw, 350 gr arrow, and 20 grams on the string. That's retarded.

Lulz

Only because PSE lapped them.

Mathews is the single most overrated company in the hunting industry. Right up there with Scent Lok IMO.

Damn that is a small brace height. I hope you have perfect form and release or else you will be all over the damn place with that bow. That's insane speed but I'm not good enough to notice or need it. What good is speed if you can't hit what you're aiming at??

I shoot the xforce axe 6. Ibo is 345 I think, I have a 26 1/2" draw pulling back 70# with Easton arrows and it's at 297fps. Thought I would never want another bow until I saw this one. And fwiw, Mathews is way over rated, pse tops them all day.

There are a few companies that can say this. They're good bows, just not what all the fan boys make them out to be.

I'm looking hard at the "premonition" PSE has coming out for '14. The skullworks camo is sweeeeet.

It probably draws like a 70lb recurve. The Omens and Monster XLR8 had terribly harsh draw cycles. I'll stick to 315-330 IBO bow that's smooth, forgiving, and fun to shoot.

Depends on what you're looking for. I personally love the draw cycle of a single cam bow . They are easy to tune, dead in the hand, and whisper quiet. They trail others in IBO ratings, but speed is probably the least important factor in killing animals.

There are much more affordable single cam bows out there.

Mathews makes a great bow, just like most of the other companies.

370 IBO is pretty retarded. That is stupidly fast and I wouldn't be surprised if somebody with a 30" draw could get in the 330s with a hunting setup. Be ready for some good prices on lightly used PSEs in the near future.

I'm happy with my ~235 setup. 450 would be enough to make me trade it in.

A 30" draw with that bow would be pushing 355 even with a 400 gr arrow. That would be around 85 LBs of KE too. That's Cape buffalo type penetration.

They generally don't have the customer service Mathews has. Very few companies will warranty a bow that has been dry fired.

You most definitely could have a hunting setup shooting 330. A 450gr arrow with a peep and loop on the string would be right around 330 at 30" 70#s
