Edcuate me on our wish list.

I am assuming that
1. Fournette
is at the top of our list and if we lose our "Big Two" WRs I'll go ahead and put
2. Quinn (others probably see it differently than I)
My question is, of all of the committs and prospects we are pursuing, who are the Top Five or Top Ten we need to seal the deal on. I am not asking, "If we could have any 5 or 10 studs in the country who would be take?" I realize that there is a lot of uncertainty in recruiting, but of the players who have expressed some any sort of interest in LSU who are our Top 5/10 priorities?

What I am wanting to know is who do we have to snare who is anywhere close to our net....either committed or just considering.

2-A GWlll- We are in desperate need of a pass rush.
2-B CG- We have a clusterf#ck at linebacker.
2-C Hootie- We are in great need of a stud S.
3-A Dupre, Noil- Need to replenish our receiving corps after Juice & Obj go to the league.
3-B McDowell, Valentine- Depth on the D-line.
3-C TB- depth at DB.
I have TB a bit low only because we have 2 true frosh studs starting right now. From all accounts including Paris, he will be playing CB. John Battle is very underrated and we have 2 studs already onboard for next years class.

I think that LF's commitment will have coat tails & impact some of the others on the fence. He may be that rare talent that actually is good enough to "build a team around". I just hope it's LSU that gets him. He tweeted today... "I'm silent but solid" however, in no particular context so anybody's guess what that may mean.

Hey, thanks for posting that, GA Blue Dog. There are only 2 OL currently pledged to LSU and while they are both outstanding prospects, I would like to see at least one more.
So how about David Sharpe of Florida, the big kid from California, Brian Wallace of Missouri or some tackle of that caliber?
Of course, we all have on the wish list these players: LF, Hootie, Noil, Dupre, Willis and Brown.

You can probably include another four guys in that "Next Eight" category -- I've just picked based on my perception of our needs from the last year and a half. But I think the first four up there are definitely in a tier of their own and will be the crown jewels of our class. Thankfully, we're the overwhelming favorites for the first three listed, and IMO, pretty solid favorites for Hootie too.

We can hope but I'm a bit worried about the full court press from FSU should he decide to leave California.
