Not shocking, they are very similar, especially in action when you don't have time to pick up on a lot of it anyway. from all I have read it appears that ps4 has it running in 900p while Xbox has it running at 720p.

Ghosts is rumored to run at 720 on One and 1080 on PS4...I think. Plus, there are some rumors that the PS4 version will be visually better than the One version.

I'm not trolling, I've really read that.

That's how I feel. If you nitpick it is slightly better but in game play you can't tell.

LevelCap did a video reviewing the Xbox One campaign and it looked outstanding. JackFrags' PS4 multiplayer videos also look incredible.

Apparently there was a big deal about someone doing a video capture to review both and didn't do it right so it looked terrible. I didn't follow the whole thing because I didn't care enough to keep reading but this is an issue currently. People keep doing these video captures and there are so many variables that aren't known. Another huge issues is that people put them on youtube which butchers all video anyway with their compression.

Is it possible you see a bigger gap in looks in 5 or 6 years?

I mean, doesn't the ps4 have a higher ceiling that the One?

I honestly don't know just asking

JackFrags did the same thing, but he used the DICE-issued capture method for both which kind of canceled variables. It still came out that the PS4 MP looked better than the Xbox One single player, which is really strange.

It's not rumor on PS4, it's been confirmed to be natively 1080p. There's been no official announcement about Xbox One, but I have a hard time believing it'll be 720p. The game looks like crap compared to other next-gen games. It can't be that hard to run.

Before you playstationers run out of rags

Johan Andersson
?
@digitalfoundry the AO on Xbox One was one of the fixes that didn't make it into the review copy but will be in day1, same tech as PS4/PC

Johan Andersson (@repi). Technical Director on Frostbite at DICE.

Looks like that slight difference will be gone but I find some shots/vids look better on PS4 and some look better on X1. The X1 shots have a clearer image which can sometimes reveal issues but every PS4 shot has this filtered look that hides a lot of those issues.

The hardware isn't the exact same so it's not a straight comparison. Everyone seems to believe one way or the other but if BF4 is a good example then i expect them to be close either way.

There is a real problem with IW or whoever the hell is developing it, if they can't get that POS to be 1080.

I was watching some multiplayer gameplay the other day. It looks worse than BF3.

I don't really care for comparisons of launch titles.
