I think what they are trying to say is though the trend has been teams losing fewer than 2 games in preseason go to playoffs, maybe the fact that last season those two teams didn't mean the trend is over.

Yes, that's what he's saying, but my question is why. Why not leave the stat alone. Why make the sixers comment as to make you think there's a comparison.
