is it a dick move to pick up free agents (players who havent played yet or are on bye). Need a def for next week and indy is available since they had a bye. is it too kashish to drop brandon bolden for them???

It has nothing to do with yahoo. It the way your commish set the league settings. I just looked into what you were talking about and Indy's defense is on waivers until the 30th in my yahoo league.

Not a dick move. I do it fairly often if there's someone expendable on my bench, and others in my league do the same. Smart move imo...

Play according to the rules.

Last year was had 3am free for alls and I'll admit to setting my alarm a few times.

If not the people who woke up at 6:30 for class got them first.

told you this weeks ago and now you are finally coming around?

I'm going to drop SEA's K right before kickoff for Indy and not start a K this week, then drop Hillis for a K for week 8.

someone would have used a waiver for Indy's DEF and while I have Carolina, I want to grab them from being used against me.

also, mid way through the season, race for 4th place, a trade can be made and by using Indy DEF to lube up a begrudging owner.

It's okay as long as it's the rule, but to me any league that doesn't lock rosters once the games start is shitty.

There should be no adding or dropping once games start and there should be a waiver period or a free agent auction each week.

the only players you should be able to drop are ones on a bye. the same way they should be the only ones you can pick up

the problem is with thursday night game the setting needs to be game time for waiver rule. this leaves teams that havent played yet or on bye available to pick up. no where in the settings does it say you cant drop people that have played if they are on your bench

In Game Time Waivers, players on a bye week will be placed on waivers Monday night at 5:30pm pacific time.
