There was a time (in the 2000's) that any team would be fearful of playing LSU, regardless of rank and the number of games we had won/lost. Playing LSU was the big game, the game that you'd be wary of because LSU may just 'destroy' you.
That time is now gone. Let's reminisce.

Your post is correct but the same could be said for every team that is not Bama.
The SEC is much more competitive than in the past.
A&M and Mizzo are much better then they had been. Its tough to get on multiple year runs, as a fan we just need to enjoy one year at a time.
This year the offense is good--not perfect, but good. Our defense is weak up the middle and with young DB's we will give up the occational big play.
You are correct thou in the past teams that had LSU scheduled wished they didn't. For now that team is Bama, I hope we can put together a good game and stop their run.

Lame post. LSU has been a "quirky" team prone to occasionally play down to the level of its opponents for some time (save 2011).
But I can guarantee you that there isn't a program in college football that looks past us or harbors no fear of us fricking up their season.
Bama doesn't schedule those by-weeks before LSU for nothing.
