How do you feel about Mechanical Bull (kings of Leon)

Sorry if this has already been discussed. With all the threadjacking and bitching plus a vacation and added workload, I have avoided this board and the last month or better, so I am not up to date on the topics discussed.
I know there is a divide when it comes to them, but I jumped on the train too late to be pissed off about some comments they made that alienated their fans. I enjoy their music and refuse to apologize for it.
From what I have heard, I really like it. I have basically listened to it in whispers at my desk for the last three days, but i cranked it up on the way home today and it makes me happy. Makes me want to just fricking drive until I can't drive anymore. Anyway, wtf did you think?
Also, if 'comeback story' were a lady, I would give her two tickets to the gun show

I listened to it right when it was leaked and was not a fan. To be honest I cannot even remember why other than coming away with the feeling that it was quite weak. I have all of their previous stuff and occasionally still listen to them, but this album did not do it for me.

I haven't listened to it yet...but if it's like Come Around Sundown, then I will like it.

I listened to the whole album twice since it takes a while for some songs to grow on me. However, this album didn't. I don't think there is one song I like.

True. As I continue to listen to it, I suppose it will land somewhere near or just below Because of the Times and Only by the Night.
I should say that these 2 albums are what turned me on the KOL, then I found Youth and Young Manhood and Aha Shake which are some incredible works. So for me to get back to the level of Because of the Times and Only by the Night would be nice.
Not that I didn't like Come Around Sundown. It just wasn't my favorite. Plus I was a bit jaded on them at the time of Come Around Sundown because I was on my way to the Woodlands to go see them and heard about Dallas the night before where Caleb suffered from "exhaustion."
