He's an aggressive hitter with excellent bat control. He hardly strikes out, but he hardly walks either. He puts balls in play, but still bats .280. Works a pitcher, but a double play risk every time someone's on first. That's his on-the-field "issue". I can't speak for his work ethic or anything else like that that might have kept him off the field.

From what I know, Moore works plenty hard. Sometimes coaches make decisions about players and the player may have a hard time busting through the coach's perception of him. Moore has shown himself to be a clutch hitter, but we have not seen enough of him to know what he will do if he's a regular starter. Maybe we'll see what he can do next season.

Ok. I see it know. Looks like I missed some legit baseball talk today.

Right now I see Robertson and Zardon battling for 2nd, but the coaches are going to have Robertson in there somewhere. I don't know who's going to be behind the plate. That's gonna be a hole we're gonna try to fill for a while until someone really steps up. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Nola/Glenn and Newman/Poche for the starters. I saw Domangue pitch a couple of weeks ago and thought he looked pretty good. Maybe he can step up.

Coached against him in high school. Dunham's most athletic player so they put him behind the plate to handle Johnson. He was a really tough out. Hit a HR against us that I'm pretty sure didn't land until it hit our bus on the way out.

He seems to have a really hard time throwing runners out. I like him just not at catcher.
