Basketball depth

When was the last time we had this kind of depth on our basketball team?
I seriously think you have to go back to the Dale Brown era to find it. Brady's teams were hampered early with scholarship restrictions, and we had some great front line talent on some of his teams, but we never had guys who were on the bench who were as good as the guys on the court. It seems like we have enough talent this year to put two talented teams on the court at the same time, assuming some of these freshmen pan out.
What say you? Regardless, I am more excited to see this year's team take the court than I have been since the great Dale Brown teams that mostly underachieved.
ETA: Fixed for the overly critical guy.

Certainly not in the past 10 years.

Wrong.

That 2000-2001 team had some solid depth off the bench with Dupre, Jermaine Williams, etc. I can't remember if Beshara started or not.
I don't think we've had anything close to what we have now since then.

It's been a while. That '06 team only really had 7 guys basically.

Yea nothing in the past 10 years had more than 7-8 legitimate players.

That was one of the more depleted LSU teams within the last 15 years.

The Shaq years.

i almost as happy with the quality of the depth as i am with having enough players to actually fill out the bench. How many times in the last decade have we only had 9 or 10 players dressed?

My bad
I meant 1999-2000.
Huge difference in those two teams.

The really intriguing thing is we are deep and diverse. We can mix and match a lot of different combinations for different situations. We've got atheletic, leaping 6'9" guys and solid, half-court 6'9" guys. We also have a decently skilled 7 footer and a backup 6'6" PG. We can put in a tall, half-court oriented team or an athletic, pressing team. I don't ever remember having a team like this. They should be a lot of fun to watch.
