Given his feelings toward interceptions and trust of his QB, do you think Si Miles will go back to what appeared to be a more varied passing attack utilizing all weapons (at least till we get inside the 10) or do we pull it in and go even more old school smash mouth (which might have worked better at OM, esp if Mett is hurting)? I think given the comments after the game and this week, he will go back to what he is more comfortable with. 2 WR patterns, tight formations, and shorten the game. Again, which may be the way to go against BAMA and TAMU.

Not sure the offense will change. Mett just shouldn't have tried to make those throws, particularly in double coverage. Got to take what the defense gives us.

Since Cam is the OC and the one calling the plays, no.

I think the offense will be fairly vanilla against Furman, but I would expect them to go right back to what has been working all year with the exception of the Ole Miss game. And it would have worked in the Ole Miss game if Mett would have checked down and hit open receivers instead of throwing in double coverage.

I think that that game plan(smash mouth running) can work for every team left on the schedule except Bama. We will have to be able to pass the ball efficiently to win that game.

We will have to be stupidly balanced to win this one.

truer words have not been spoken.

our offense did not lose the ole miss game, our qb did. his decisions were cataclysmic in that game. they were also foolish and the team paid the price because our defense is weak.

if we go into a shell cam cameron will leave LSU, imo.

Passing to beat Bama

Doesn't Bama have a stupid lopsided record against teams who pass more than 17-20 times against them.

we're in the shell. ever since florida.

what will be interesting is if we get out of it for bama and a&m.

if JFF can't play, we'll see the old offense for sure.

Please explain how exactly we were in a "shell" against Ole Miss on offense?
