Miles Reynolds 6’2 (170) Chicago, IL (Whitney Young)
Is the floor general for one of the best HS teams in the country. He is a scrappy defender and a very quick and athletic PG/SG. I put him as a SG because I think his game best translates at the next level as a slasher combo guard, but make no mistake he is a damn good PG. He is a 3* on every major site but I believe this is due more to the fact he is a distributor first for guys like Jahlil Okafor (6’10 5*), L.J. Peak (6’5 4*), and Paul White (6’8 4*). On a team as loaded as that he is not looked to score but he can score and I believe will be a steal on probably the nations best HS basketball team in 2014.
3* on every major site: Listed 5 schools: LSU, Arizona, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio St.

Does LSU have room for him?

They will make room for him, however LSU would be done after their 4th. He may be the best player left on LSU's board for 2014. It won't be the end of the world if LSU gets him, especially because Patterson, but would be a nice commitment.

While I've read some articles that clearly indicate mutual interest from both sides, with that being said and Jonah Bolden still very much in play that tells me that someone from the current roster will be gone. If in fact Reynolds goes with lsu

How much would it cost for LSU to send CJJ up to north La and recruit for the football team?

Fwiw.. Shea himself is the one who predicted Reynolds to the bilikens.

Which I think shows LSU wanted only 1 PG and that would be Patterson. Save room for Bolden, who I think we have a great shot at.

Wish Victor would open his eyes and see what CJJ is doing over here in Baton Rouge

Just my opinion but leave Victor where he is. He wanted to be a drama king so let him have at. Its funny that he thought that he needed to play for the BIG boys to get noticed, yet Ben Simmons and Elbert Robinson had no problem coming to Baton Rouge to get it done. Also don't be surprised to see his production and rankings drop while he's at Findley they are loaded and Jonah Bolden is now about to overshadow him.

Yep. With the out of state/country talent JJ is bringing in, Victor wasn't the "must get" that we thought he was. We'll be fine without him.

If only Dante Exum didn't have his meteoric rise this past summer

Exactly I bet he's thought about his decision a many of times. And these other local guys coming up better be careful about stringing Lsu along. Trying to get that Big offer Coach Jones and staff has taken this program to another level, nationally and international. No longer will a 3* or fringe 4* hold this program hostage.

Look, I like LSU basketball just as much as anybody on here, but I doubt Victor is too concerned about his decision not to attend LSU in favor of Arizona. If he was trying to get that "big" offer by leaving the state, then it worked, because right now Arizona is a much "bigger" CBB program than LSU. That might not be the case in a few years, but it is now.

Further, while I'm excited about the potential of LSU basketball, I'm not willing to say "We're back" until I see the team actually do something on the court. Let's temper expectations just a bit until we see how these guys perform this year.

I don't think they will. We don't need another guard in this class unless he's elite.

Bolden and Exum (not happening) are both much better.

He's going to commit to St. Louis imo.
