Jarvis Landry should be the Josh Reed of this team........

I just can't say it enough, Jarvis is the best player on this team. Period.
The guy is uncoverable and breaks down a defense at all levels. The way he fights for space over the middle, and overpowers defenders on the intermediate routes outside the hashmarks is just too valuable to not try to exploit on a regular basis. We didn't do it in the first half Saturday, and we were shut out while trying to force the ball over the top to our deep threat.
I've said this before, but Odell makes teams pay when they make a mistake, but Jarvis makes the big play even when a defense does everything right. That's not taking anything away from Odell's success, but praising Jarvis for being the type of player that he is. He deserves to be the first option in our passing game IMO.
I really hope we see more of a focus on the intermediate work to Jarvis in the back half of the season, because I just can't see teams having a whole lot of success designing a scheme to stop him without leaving huge opportunities for our other playmakers to exploit.

100% agree. I love Odell, but Jarvis makes plays. Odell makes plays as well, but seems to drop balls when it counts, whether it be a punt or a catch. Not bashing, just like Jarvis better, especially in the clutch

Jarvis has more jaw dropping catches, and Odell seems to be more prone to drop a pass.

When we throw to Odell in clutch situations, I get nervous. When we throw to Jarvis in those same situations, I could not be more confident.

I really like Odell as he can turn 10 yard gains into 30 yard gains and is usually the deep man, but Landry has the complete package man. If he's going to force a pass into double and triple coverage, force it to Landry.
What I'm really hoping is that Mett got out of rhythm when we changes philosophies on Florida and it made him off early against Ole Miss.

Agreed with this and what everyone else seems to be thinking as well.
I just really don't see any reason why the offense shouldn't flow through him. If the defense wants to adjust and cheat their defenders to stopping him, which they would have to do, then it will create huge opportunities for everyone else.
If they don't, he'll chip away 10-20 yards at a time and will end up with J Reed like numbers every game with 12 catches for 180 yards and a couple of TDs.
I see no problem either way.
