Zach Hodskins, who was born without the lower half of his left arm, committed to Florida on Saturday as a preferred walk-on.

"It's always been my dream growing up," Hodskins said. "I never expected it to be like this, but the hard work has paid off. I'm ecstatic I'm going to be a Florida Gator."

I heard about this guy a while back. Back then he was hoping he'd get a chance to walk on somewhere. I'm glad he did.

I played against one in HS.

Was very weird guarding him and him guarding me but he was decent.

Pushing him to his weak side must yield great results.

He was probably so much quicker than the other kids in high school that it didnt matter but it will be interesting how it goes at the college level.

Disclaimer: I dont really know much about basektball so somebody correct me if im wrong.

He is a fighter and competitor. Zach and our son played on the same team for a couple of seasons; off-season travel ball. He can shoot very accurately, and he can put moves on a defender and blow their doors off. Best wishes to him!

He seems like it based on the videos. I hope he is able to contribute at some point. Even if its only as a spot up 3 point specialist or something late in games.
