TO on 4th and 10 play was more of a killer than the one with 6 seconds!

If LSU would have had 2 TO's left on Ole Miss last drive they would have had around 1 minute left on clock to get in FG range. It almost looked like they didn't know if they were going to kick a FG or go for it..

Ole Miss would have run their drive differently if LSU had more timeouts. You can't take one situation and apply it to what actually happened.

Can we please forget about the timeout mistakes.

LSU's shitty play cost us the game, not the time outs.

Someone said in a thread lastnight that Miles had the fake punt on. The other sideline noticed a different player on punt team so he had to call timeout to put the real punt team in.

Yeah. But it's still pretty inexplicable as to why we took a timeout to punt the ball.

not really. that 4th down is a big play. TO there isnt great but if you pick up the first it is worth it.

Timeouts didnt hurt us(this time). Not being able to get off the field on 3rd down and turning the ball over did

Miles hesitated. Mett never left the field until the TO was called. Did'nt Mett called the TO when he saw the play clock? Not sure, but I didnt see any punt team come on the field. Miles either wasnt sure if he wanted to go for it (if it was 4 down territory that decision should have been made on 1st down) or he wasnt sure what paly he wanted. Either way by the time LSU lined up the play clock was already down. LSU converted but it was a TO that easily could have been saved.

yep, we didn't get lined up and Mett was having to rush through the pre snap.

We should have known before 3rd down whether we were going for it or not
