I don't want him fired or anything like that. And I know it probably wouldn't have made a difference. The chance of driving down the field to FG was small. And I know that the game didn't rest on that decision at all. Mett threw 3 INTs and the D couldn't get off the field on 3rd down.

But he just can't handle the pressure of a tight game down to the wire. He clams up like a frightened 8 year old girl in a haunted house. I know he knows that he should have called a timeout. If I know it then he has to know it. I really don't know that much about football but even I know that.

I liken it to an airplane pilot or an ER doctor. 99 times out of a 100 an average ER doc will be able to handle a broken leg or a heart attack. But when someone comes in with a sucking chest wound from multiple gun shots you George Clooney from the tv show there. 99 times out of a hundred an average pilot will get you where you need to go safely. But when you fly through a flock of geese you want Sully there to put her down on the Hudson.

Let's face it. Les is no Sully. He never will be.

I disagree. He actually does okay under fire. It's actually when he is not under fire when he struggles. He doesn't have that killer instinct to put an opponent away. Keep the foot on the gas and get in someone's face!

Than what in the frick was Auburn 2007, ASU 2005, Florida 2007, Arkansas 2009, Alabama 2011, Florida 2010, and a few others I'm forgetting? To call him unclutch is just wrong. That man and his decisions have paid off more then they've failed.

The coach doesn't make the clutch play.

ETA: it's the player that takes the call from the coach and turns it into a clutch play.

I'm clearly talking about clock management.

From all appearances, he isn't a hard worker and will frick off when he thinks he can get away with it.

Ole Miss is to us what we are to Bama. We're their Super Bowl and Bama is ours.

Look at how close the game was last year. Won by a measly 6 points under the lights of Tiger Stadium. You don't play down to your opponent when you're their super bowl. They just wanted it more, plain and simple.

Look guys. I know the decision to call the timeout with 3 sec instead of 27 isn't the reason we lost. But this is a theme with him. I'm not putting the loss solely on that decision. I just want to know why it's as common as it is.
