These Sky Is Falling posts are pathetic for a team still playing for a BCS game

Last night, OM played their safeties deeper than normal, and clearly told them not to support their run D. They were not bighting on play action at all. We may never know why Mett decided to throw into that, but you all saying everything is lost equally suck.

This team can win the remaining games. Its not likely, but it is possible. I think I will continue to cheer them on instead of insisting on Miles and the program's demise, as many of you seem to do after every loss.

Winning the remain games will not equate a BCS game unless it gets LSU into the SEC title.

There will be no at large for LSU.

Sorry but if we win out and get a little help, we are still looking at a BCS game. That's not my opinion but a fact.

Half our fan base is pathetic. It's football. shite happens. Especially in rivalries against inferior opponents.

So a depleted OM defense simply had to ignore the play action to shut down LSU...I think that's cause for alarm.

And I don't know if 2-loss LSU gets to BCS this year, but I do know LSU won't finish with 2 losses.

Did you watch the game?

Do you really think the team that showed up last night deserves a BCS game?

Even if they found a way to back themselves into one, do you really think this team led by Miles deserves to be there? It would just be a masquerade.

Dude, all hope for an at large BCS bid went out the window last night.

Right now, we should be hoping we don't end up playing a bowl game in Nashville.

Biglego: Since you KNOw Lsu will lose, at least you can plan ahead and do other things than watch the games. Poor saps like me will continue to hope we win.

nah, if they beat us, it probably won't be more than 10

We play to the level of our opponents whether they're the #1 team in the country or a depleted hot mess of 2nd stringers.

We don't need an at large bid if we win out and get some help. This really isn't that complicated.

Im not. I just don't think every loss is the end of the world. And in this case its not, since we still have games to play.

Missouri or Auburn will get to a BCS game before we will. And these are EAST teams. But if you want to go on living in fantasy land, I won't stop you bro.

Though I typically agree with the above, this was a season defining loss. It leaves no room for error if we hope to make it to Atlanta on a tie-breaker. Mind you, we controlled our own destiny before last night. I hate to say it, but you're crazy if you give us more than a 1/5 chance of beating both Bama and A&M.
